It’s so tremendous I want to say ironic, and it’s not ironic. The ELP advisor for Ramsey himself said Tim “this is not irony, it’s nothing more than a God thing.” Do not think twice about it, because this, Mike Stromsoe improves your life not only professionally it permeates every aspects of your life including personal all the way through.”

” I am attending a 2 day Seminar put on by Mike Stromsoe Insurance and we are learning how to manage our agencies better and grow our agencies. It’s funny you should ask this I actually called one of my agents this morning and she a field agent and she is gone in her car ordinarily most of the time, and we communicate by text or phoning, I hardly ever see her. I’m not sure I would recognize her right now. I called her this morning the next session of this. I’m dragging you kicking and screaming, I’m sorry Elsa but that’s what I’m going to do. She said I don’t have time for that I’m out writing annuities; I’m very, very busy. I said no I’m dragging you kicking and screaming, let me tell you why. I got more ideas yesterday morning than I’ve ever had about running my agency making it more profitable and being a happier person and getting in control. I heard more in a half a session in my entire life. By the second day my head was exploding. I actually had a sinus headache and I was regretting not having taken some aspirin in the morning. Within 1 hour my ideas were flowing so fast that the headache went away or I forgot I don’t know which and this morning when I was heading this way I thought of that sinus headache is coming back it was gone within an our again this morning. So what I would say is this; there is no way in the world I can implement 850 to 1000 brand new ideas all of which have incredible merit to them, all of them. But what I can do is can start with one get it right add a second one get it right and if Mike took 27 years to do this what he’s done to pay it forward to us he’s made it available to us it won’t take 27 years. You know what honestly I don’t have 27 more years. My goal is to be out in 3 but…it’s tied to doubling the value of my agency and I want to do it in 3 years. I had no idea how I was going to do it, now I might be able to double it in one year. I won’t leave though I still wait for 3 because I’m greedy and I wouldn’t mind it being triple the size it is instead of double. Would I recommend it? Oh my gosh don’t miss it!! What happened in the session this morning some sticker were passed out and I noticed that Mike had a sticker on his forehead that said just ask. And the purpose of it was to ask for referrals. I believe he put the sticker on his head to remind him and his team member to just ask. And of course the concept is you earn the trust then you ask for the referral. So I decided since he was putting stamps on his envelopes upside down because it made people want to open up the envelope. I decided to unilaterally to put mine on upside down so people would ask – “Why does it say Just Ask upside down?” Did you know you are the first person to notice and say anything? Everyone else has just accepted it. So I had this crazy idea, this is the last thing; have you ever seen those letters that the first and last letter of the word is correct but that the middle is mixed up. And it may say some people brains are able to read this, I’m able to do it and my wife’s able to do it, so I thought this is just like that. So now I have this crazy idea I want to send out some letters that are exactly these kind of letters but I’m going to change them and I’m going to reverse the middle letters and they are going to make their brains work. It’s going to be crazy I might even put their name and address that way. I don’t know!! It just hit me. Is this worth it??!! I can say no more. My goal for this was to take away one or two or three good ideas and implement them. I thought they would be worth the price of admission. Within 30 to 45 minutes of being here yesterday I was completely wowed. I was completely overwhelmed it exceeded my expectations by so much that I not only had three, I had hundreds of ideas that I will probably never be able to get around to implementing
But I’m wowed and overwhelmed and that is what I want for my customers.”

So I’m trying to figure out how I can translate that into my own agency; what can I do that will inspire others.”

Honestly, I was sitting there and I sit on a couple chambers and a couple of foundations and I was thinking about at least 10 people not in the insurance agency that would be powerfully moved by just these words. I think we are in essence sales people who happen to sell insurance or producers who happen to sell insurance but in this case it could be applied to anything. These skills I’m going to take on and I’m going to share and expand, I think that is what I leaving as my call to action.”
